Don A. Labar
(Of Counsel)

Don is a member of the firm's Tax, Probate, and Litigation practice groups and focuses his practice on estate planning, probate and family law. He was born and raised in Billings, Montana.

In 1965, Don received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana at Missoula where he majored in accounting. In 1967, he graduated from the University of Montana School of Law with a Bachelor of Laws degree. He went on to tax school at New York University and received a Master of Laws (in taxation) in 1968. He joined the law firm of Church, Harris, Johnson & Williams in Great Falls in 1969 and was made a partner in the firm in 1974.

Don joined the Montana Army National Guard in 1968 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1970. He transferred to the Montana Air National Guard in 1974 and retired as a Colonel in 1998 after thirty years of service.

Don has served in a number of civic organizations including Boy Scouts, United Way, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and United Church of Christ.
