The firm represents creditors
under all Chapters of the Bankruptcy Code and business clients
(debtors) in commercial (business) reorganization cases, and
family farmers under Chapter 12 of the Bankruptcy Code, and creditors
in consumer bankruptcy cases under all Chapters of the U.S. Bankruptcy
Code. In addition, the firm represents creditors' committees
and trustees. On a regular basis the firm's bankruptcy attorneys
represent clients in adversary proceedings before the bankruptcy
court, and in moving for withdrawal of reference and abstention
in appropriate
cases. The firm has served as counsel for Chapter 11 debtors
in possession in reorganizations of manufacturing firms, real
estate developers, and retailers, and has represented parties
in purchase and sale transactions free and clear of liens under § 363
of the Bankruptcy Code.
In addition, the firm regularly
represents clients in collection, foreclosure, and replevin (claim
and delivery) actions in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. |
